Course Description
Using the power of TIA Portal to integrate PLC, HMI and VFD control, all attendees will learn structure programming, implement functions, and function blocks.
Our hands-on course uses model conveyors and VFDs and Motors to implement the labs. Software diagnostics tools will also be taught and will be used to debug both hardware and PLC programming.
Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able to:
- Implement a design using Functions/Function Blocks/Data Blocks
- Troubleshoot a structured STEP7 program
- Use symbolic addressing
- Implement HMI in design
- Motor control using VFD
- Communicate between PLCs
- Data logging at HMI
- Course manuals and lunch are provided.
